In addition to her passion for performance, Kate McManus works as an independent filmmaker, producer and writer, who has worked in both the United States and the United Kingdom. Most recently, Kate produced and production managed the independent short, The Object of Her Desire (2017), which was selected for several New York City film festivals.
In 2013, Kate interned at the award-winning digital content and film company, Irresistible Films, based out of London, UK. There, Kate worked as a PR, Marketing and Sales intern, as well as production runner and location scout. While at Irresistible, Kate helped create content for brands such as Cadbury's, Warburton's, Nissan and Peugeot. Additionally, Kate worked on award-winning short films Mike (2014) and A Confession (2015), which received consecutive Crystal Bear Awards at the 64th and 65th Berlin International Film Festival.
Kate continues to pursue film in conjunction with her acting career.
